-Fitted car with wrong tire -Called back to ask them to correct it, was told I would have to pay for labor to have my old tire put back on. I decided to keep the used tire they put on. Over time this incorrectly fitted tire caused my car to vibrate. -When the used tire ruptured on the highway 9 days later they offered to fit the car with the incorrect tire type they already used previously. -Owner was willing to do nothing to make it right. I've come here over the last 5 years on and off for emergency tire needs. The lack of comprise despite my patronage was surprising. -No refund was offered. -I highly advise any prospective patrons to stay away.

I went to Zip Tires New & Used Plus Auto Services in Rockville to have tires I purchased myself mounted and balanced on my commuter SUV. I called ahead and spoke with Eddy, who told me they were not busy and to bring them in. When I arrived, the staff was friendly and eager to help. They lifted the vehicle safely and quickly removed the wheels. However, the work was completed extremely fast, which made me question whether the tires were actually balanced. I asked Eddy inside and also confirmed with another worker outside, and both assured me the tires were balanced. I paid $148 with tax and left. The following morning, I went to another local shop for an alignment after installing new shocks, sway bar links, and tires. I asked them to double-check the balance and requested video proof. The machine clearly showed that none of the tires were properly balanced. I had to pay an additional $100 to have the balancing corrected before they could perform the alignment I originally went in for. I then returned to Zip Tires to give them the opportunity to take accountability and resolve the issue by refunding the amount I paid for the balancing service that was not properly completed. Ini

Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I purchased a used tire from here. Two days later, my trusted family mechanic informed me that they put an incredibly old, bad quality tire on my car. I understand it is used, but I should get more than 2 days out of a used tire before being told I should consider replacing it again. Pros: quick service, immediate availability to bring the car in Cons: customer service left a lot to be desired, bad quality used tires, overcharged Edit: It also appears they massively overcharged me. Given the size and quality, it should’ve been $20-40. I was charged $70.

I had a fantastic experience with their service! The employees were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I found the right tires at a great price. The quality of the tires was excellent, and I couldn’t be happier with the conditions. Highly recommend!
